My mom, Mary Dorsey Swenson, was Christine’s cousin. She was a special lady to me. I always looked forward to her visits as a little girl. I loved her voice, so gentle and calming. Heaven knows that I needed that in my life. She was so talented with her sewing. I look forward to seeing her girls. I hope they remember me. I know how you must miss her. Thinking of you.
I was also named after Christine. When adopted by Mary and “Swede”, my legal name was Norma Christine Swenson, with the nickname Jeanie.

To the Billy Macfarlen family, while I may never have had the pleasure of meeting your mother, I worked with Billy during the 70’s. If a man’s reflection is a fair representation of their parents then your mother must have been a truly wonderful person. So sorry Billy for you and your family.
Rest in peace my dear Aunt Christine. Heaven welcomes you with open arms and hearts.
Gay, your mother and I had some wonderful conversations when I would visit her. I was blessed to have known her. May you and your family feel the comfort that only only our Lord and savior can give at this time. God bless you all.
It was a pleasure to meet and know Christine as Ethan’s great grandmother. Such sweet memories she enriched us with. I will forever treasure my beautiful quilt she and Judy Weeden made me for Christmas a few years ago.
My condolences and respects for this amazing family.
Hugs,
Ms. Tita
Mrs, McFarlen was one of the sweetest ladies I knew. You are all more like family than friends. We know you will miss her so much. We loved her and you all.
