Claude Dennis Wilson, 68, of Waco, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021.
Service Information: A celebration of life if to be held at 1:00 pm Friday, June 11, at Lake Shore Funeral Home & Crematory.
Claude was born November 7, 1952 to parents, Charles Douglas Wilson III and Christina Dianna Dennis Wilson. He attended and graduated from Moore High School, Class of 1971. During his time at Moore High School Claude met the love of his life and wife of 54 years, Irrman Haliburton. Irrman and Claude were married shortly after he graduated high school and quickly began building their family. To this union three sons were born, Curry, Marcus and Demond.
He enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and was an avid sports fan but he especially loved to BBQ and spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Charles Douglas Wilson III and Christina Dianna Dennis; and brother, Charles Wilson.
Claude is survived by his wife of 54 years, Irrman Wilson; sons, Curry Haliburton-Wilson, Marcus Wilson and Demond Wilson; sister, Charlene Drakes and husband, Albert, Niece Hudlin and husband, Anslum, Christina Jefferson, and Cassandra Wilson; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and special friends.
The Wilson Family would like to thank the Baylor, Scott & White – Hillcrest Hospice staff and Texas Home Health Care staff for their kindness and for the level of care they provided.
