Connie you were a loving, caring, strong friend who always had a smiling face. I met Connie many years ago from her Sister in Law, Harriet. I would see Connie at McLennan County Election training every time elections were happening. We would talk and laugh!! She was one of the best lady and friend in my life!. Connie was an amazing woman most definitely! A friend and I actually met her at Ninfas restaurant one evening quite a few years ago. From then on we would all sit together. She was so funny and had the best stories.
Prayers for the family. You were so loved. She always talked about you all.
I met Connie at Ninfa’s in Waco one night around Christmas time. A friend and I had been to HEB and stopped off to have a drink. We told Connie our husbands wouldn’t know and from then on, we were her HEB Girls and she was our Ninfa’s Friend. She was so Classy and the Sweetest!! We did meet one of the daughters, forgive my memory of which one. Your Mom was so Proud of you and talked about you all a lot!
May God give you all Peace and Comfort during this difficult time.

I am saddened by the news of Connie’s passing, but we know she is in heaven. I met her in 1998 when I became a city secretary and we attended events & were members of several minicipal organizations. Later we worked together at the county election office. Connie, Linda & I had alot of laughs and I have always admired Connie & her love for family & friends. Prayers for the family
I met Connie when both our daughters were in middle school together. I always admired her poise and grace while maintaining a well grounded attitude. While she is no longer on this earth, I take comfort that she is walking around heaven. There’s so much that should be said at this time, but no words seem adequate. I will certainly miss the fellowship. The home of Connie and Wilbert was always a second home for me. I just hope the family knows they are being thought about and cared about. Connie will remain in our hearts forever. Love, Tony and Dana
Tony Ray,how are you? It’s Elysha. Wilberts oldest daughter. Gertrude Wynne is my mother.
I’ve been wondering about you for many years. You were always a fun adult cousin to me.
I wish I could bring those days back 1 more time. Say all I needed to and not take life and time for granted. Cause its not forever. A lifetime has many narratives. Everyone has 1. Different narratives. None forever.
I’m just speaking. Hope you and your family are well
To my dear cousins you are all in my thoughts and prayers, Connie was so sweet and will truly be missed, praying for your strength through this difficult time, Love you always.
I am saddened and sobered my Connie’s passing. Yes, she was my classmate and friend. I flattered myself that were twin sisters – both born on December 20,1947 – just born to different families. We shared much – not the least of which was a love of shopping for bargains. My prayer is that your fond memories of Connie with lift your spirits in the days ahead.
Mrs Connie your legacy will carry on. I met her when one of you girls were getting married and you had a bridal shower at the Bed & Bath on Gholson Rd. Rhonda Freeman did your nails and I was the helper. Every Friday we looked forward to meeting Connie at Ninfas with our lil group the other Connie and different ones to stop by and talk with your mother. She was so unique that they have a drink named Mrs. Connie that’s still going on today, and we want to get a nice picture and this guy wasn’t too make a plaque with her picture and a saying to put in that corner where she sat every Friday, and Ninfas agreed. I believe I will give him this picture on her obituary because it’s so beautiful. I pray your strength in the loss of your mom. She was truly a razzle dazzle kind of a woman. The Queen
I will always remember when I was 12 you showed me how to roll hair with those hard rollers.. The funny talks we had, and our discreet eye agreements.
I wish I could bring those old days back when our whole family was here. I love those memories. You will always be in my heart.Tell daddy, Mama Mae,Pa Pa ,Keith and Uncle Clint. I love them all and in Gods speed we will all be together.
