Connie was born October 1, 1961, in Waco, Texas to James & Cleo Crawford. She married Michael Ray Bright on October 19, 1984, in Waco, Texas. They were married 22 years before he was taken home to be with the Lord.

Connie is remembered for her huge heart and being herself. She went out of her way to make others happy and take care of those she loved. Life throws many curves and Connie was one person that listened with empathy and did not judge. She loved her family, and her world revolved around her children and her grandchildren. The last few years she enjoyed spoiling her great grandbabies. Connie will be greatly missed by all that knows her. Connie’s family and friends will carry her with them in their hearts. We have comfort knowing she has been reunited with the love of her life.
Connie is survived by her daughters, Stephanie (Brandon) Ward, and Cheryl Crow, both of Waco; and her sons, Michael William (Amber) Bright of Waco, and Billy Bright of Brownwood. She was blessed with twelve grandchildren, Adam (Yolani) Bennett of Bruceville, Cy Lewis, Rhyss Ward, and Heather Ward of Waco, Michaela (James) Hollingsworth of West, Cassie (Christopher) Nunn and Breanna Kemp of Elm Mott, JJ Kemp of Waco, Christopher Dodd, Braden Dodd, Isaac Dodd of Waco, and Brennon Bright of Brownwood and seven great-grandchildren.
