Daniel “Danny” Marmolejo, 65, of Waco, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at a Dallas hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Memorial Service: 3PM Friday, December 30th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel in Waco.
Danny was born September 7, 1951 in Idalou to Joe Marmolejo, Sr. and Guadalupe Bravo Marmolejo. Danny spent countless hours with his children and never missed a Dallas Cowboys game. Danny was a kind, gentle, and loving man that would give anyone the shirt off his back if needed. Danny was a firm believer in God and now flies high like the angel he is.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant brother, Guadalupe Marmolejo.
Danny is survived by his son, Sean Marmolejo and wife Breanne of Waco; his daughter, Kaylei Marmolejo of Belton; six brothers, Joe Marmolejo, Jr. of Idalou, Fred Marmolejo and wife Rosie of Idalou, Richard Marmolejo of Waco, Ruben Marmolejo and wife Sally of Waco, Edward Marmolejo of Lubbock, and Steve Marmolejo and wife Rhonda of Lubbock; three sisters, Consuelo Lopez of Lubbock, Christine Rodriguez and husband Ramiro of Lubbock, and Alicia Revilla and husband Sam of Lubbock.
To the staff of Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas and Providence Hospital in Waco, thanks for all of the care you provided for our loved one.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Danny had the most happy smile of anyone I know. He was always kind and friendly to everyone and cooked the best barbecue I’ve ever eaten.. Always sharing food, smiles, joy and happiness.
