Roger, Amber and Scott: We were so sorry to hear about Darlene. She was such a wonderful Christian woman, we never met a more heart filled person in our lives. We will never forget the wonderful time with all of you 4 years ago when we came down to Waco and Jennifer and the boys surprised her with a visit. Her love for her Baylor kids was a gift to our family we will always cherish. We will miss our texting back and forth during Baylor basketball games!
My deepest condolences for your loss.
My heartfelt condolences are for you all, Roger, Amber, Scott, and extended family. Darlene was one of a kind. I didn’t see her on a regular basis but when I would run into her at H.E.B. we didn’t miss a beat. She was my friend and I knew it!! I will miss her and our run-ins!! Love and prayers.

Darlene was such a sweet and loving person! I was blessed to have her as a high school classmate. May God bless and comfort her family and many friends whose life she touched.
Darlene ( and all the Watsons)are like family to us ! We go a long way back! In these latter years after Darlene lost her mom my mother became like a “ second mom to Darlene and she would call mom like twice a month! Always with her infectious laugh and funny personality and always saying “ I love you” at the end! Mom is 96 now and losing Darlene is a huge “ hole” in her life and heart ! But we all know we will see her again real soon and she’s out of pain, for that we are thankful!
Darlene was a school friend and a coworker at the phone company. After all those years, we renewed our friendship by our granddaughters playing volleyball at China Spring
Darlene is resting in peace. But she will be missed by family and friends.
Scott and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We are so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing.

My God bless you with his comfort and spirit.
Roger,
I am very sorry for your loss. You were always a great friend to me and I think the world of you and your family.
Roger and family,
I am so sorry for your loss and my dear friend I had made In. Darlene! I always enjoyed her company and having a special time just going to lunch or breakfast at magnolia table! She was a wonderful lady and yes when my son went to Baylor she took Mike under her wing and made it a little more comfortable for him because he was away from our family in New York! I remember going to her house the first time I met them and she was so gracious to me and you could see the love for my son! Darlene will be truly missed and I have been praying for her and for you Roger and the family! I felt like she was a best friend and they are hard to find ! Sorry I couldn’t get to the funeral but was there in spirit!
Darlene, you will be so missed! Your sweet smile and infectious laugh will live on in my memories of you. You were like a big sister to me when our family came back to Waco in 1967. Your mom and dad and Ginger all took care of me as your own when Dad died and mom was working 3 jobs to keep us afloat. I’ve so enjoyed I times talking together as adults and wish we had more of those times. Say Hello to your family and mine. You and Dad should get some fine singing done together, for sure. Love you!
