What an honor it is to fulfill your last wishes for you, Nanny. You were always such a huge blessing to me growing up. Jaime and I always looked forward to going to the farm in China Spring every weekend and during the summers to spend you with you and PawPaw bottle feeding the baby calves, swimming in the cow troughs, eating whatever we wanted as long as we didn’t put our hands in the pickle jars! You were one of a kind and loved us all unconditionally. We loved you so much, Nanny. We are going to miss you so much. Give PawPaw, Scott and Seylah Ann a big hug for me.

I remember Nanny Gean so fondly; making a bowl of tomato soup with a slice of cheese just for me., teaching me how to actually bathe (“Wash behind those ears!” ), letting me brush her darling little whit poodle “FiFi” and always having a warm smile and a kind hug. I felt sorry for her putting up with PawPaw’s roof-rattling snoring – but I know she loves me as I have that same snore today! Nanny was always doing for others. There is a lot of deep sadness in the Campbell family, but Nanny Gean was always a shining light. I always appreciated how she was not self-righteous, but lived by example.
