  5. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of David from everyone here at Merchants Metals. Dave was a customer we enjoyed talking to each time he called. He was a joy to work with! We valued his business and the times we we worked with him. He always made us laugh with each conversation. He will be missed dearly!

  6. Kelly,

  8. No words can express the void that will now be in our family. David upheld morals, values and family togetherness in a way that most men of today do not understand. His hearty laugh and his joy for life were such a gift to those around him. I will never forget our Thanksgiving dinners together. The most important thing I will remember about David is the time in his life when he chose to know more about the Lord and he built a close relationship with Him. David’s life was changed because he became a child of God. I will always remember the story he told me and how excited he was to tell it. David, I will miss you terribly. Love, "Your Cuz"

I was Googling Dave to reestablish contact, and came to his obituary. I am beyond shock. Last few years we sort of lost touch, but he was a great business companion, hunting bud, and genuinely great guy!! What a loss. I am in so much shock. Blessings to all his family. Randy Horsak

  14. My thoughts and prayers to the Ford Family. I knew Mr. Ford, Dave, when I was a teller at a local bank. He always had something fun to share that would leave us laughing or in thought. He was very caring and funny. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. He is now watching over us all, smiling down with that big smile and his hearty laugh. May God be with you all.

  15. Please accept my sincere condolence for your loss. Losing a loved one at any age is hard and the time spent with them always feels so short. The pain, grief and feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable, but we can go to God’s Word for comfort. The Bible helps us to understand how Almighty God and Jesus feel about death, and how his promise for our loved ones who passed away will soon become a reality here on earth. See these scriptures at Isaiah 25:8; Psalm 37:11,29. May you find hope and comfort in the many promises from God along with your cherished memories.

  16. The Scott Family

Our deepest sympathies and prayers to family and friends. It was only a short time we had the privilege of knowing Dave but he was an awesome person to be around. His humor and laughter were contagious and he will be greatly missed.

  17. Ruth and I send our best and prayers for you Kelly and the family. I will miss David and his random phone calls telling me he just saw something that reminded him of me or some event we shared. He made me laugh oh so much. TP
