In Loving Memory
David Ray Clendenen passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the age of 52.
Service Information: The celebration of David’s life was held at La Fiesta in Waco, Texas on July 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
David was predeceased by his father, Rev. George Raymond Clendenen; brother, Raymond W. Clendenen; sister, Mary Beth Fritze; and nephew, Charles Fritze
David is survived by his loving wife, Toni of 9 years. They were married on July 29, 2011 but had been together since July 1, 1999.
David is remembered by his wife, Toni Clendenen; his daughters, Amber Desharnais and husband, Matt, and Tayler Clendenen; his granddaughter, Savannah Desharnais; his mother, Lillian Holden; his brother, Joe Ross Clendenen and wife, Pam; and numerous nieces and nephews.
David was born in Waco, Texas. He attended school in Waco and went on to achieve many great things in the construction industry. David would go on to become the Vice President of Tran Construction and a General Superintendent for Excel and Associates, LLC.
David loved collecting Indian arrowheads, knives, and coins, he had a love of music and enjoyed playing with his brother, Joe. David also enjoyed playing sports (especially softball), playing his Xbox, and spending time with his family. Although not his legal children, David had a special place in his heart for 3 girls from a prior marriage who he would help raise and take care of. These girls and their families include Ashley with husband, Aaron and their children, Gavin, Marshall and Kelsey Vrba, Tiffany Fowler and son, Tristan, and Faren Fowler.
