David Henry McAdams, Sr., 86, of Bosqueville, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 in Waco.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22nd at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend, in Waco.

Funeral service: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 23rd in the chapel of Lake Shore Funeral Home with Pastor George Meeks officiating. Burial will follow at Bosqueville Cemetery.

David “Snuffy” McAdams was born June 26, 1930 in McKinney to Buck and Delia McMahan McAdams. He married the love of his life, Edna Mearl Collier the 24th of December 1947 in Waco. Their union brought six sons.

He retired from General Tire after 35 plus years of service. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and antiquing. He also loved his animals, working the land he lived on, his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Snuffy had many friends and never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Edna Mearl; his parents, Buck and Delia McAdams ; sons, Ronnie and Jerry McAdams; siblings, Margie Collier, Barbara Morosky, Joan Pafford, Curtis McAdams and Kenneth McAdams.

Snuffy is survived by his sons, Mike McAdams and wife, Debbie, Jimmy McAdams and wife, Pam, Donald McAdams and Tommy McAdams and wife, Vickie; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Irene Lee, Bucky McAdams and wife, Pat, Earl McAdams and wife, Jimmie, Edward McAdams and wife, Janice and Brenda Barrack and husband, Billy; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie McAdams, Chris McAdams, Craig Jones, Daniel McAdams, Cory McAdams, TD McAdams and David McAdams.
