Delores Perry, 73, of Purdon, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Providence Hospice Place in Waco.
Delores was born January 1, 1943 in Marlinton, West Virginia to Ransom Barney Clark and Nina Ruth Sparks Clark. She married Hubert R. Perry on July 3, 1960. She loved holidays, vacations and outings with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ransom Clark and Melton Lanneum; brother, Randy Clark; an infant brother, Kenneth Clark; her mother and father in law, Madeline and Roy McLauglin; and numerous uncles and aunts.
To cherish her memory, she leaves behind, her loving husband of 56 years, Hubert R. Perry; daughter, Nina L. Whitworth and husband, Mike; son, Roy M. Perry and wife, Darien; and her mother, Nina R. Lanneum. She is also survived by her sisters, Verna Clark of Goodview, Virginia, Ginger Conner and husband, Jeff of Roanoke, Virginia; brothers, Holden Clark and wife, Patsy of Anderson, South Carolina, Danny Clark and wife, Pam of Cloverdale, Virginia and Marvin Boggs and wife, Terri of Eagle Rock, Virginia; 20 grandchildren, Jannica Smith, Melissa Jones, James Perry, Nicole Dominguez and husband, Alex, Casey Perry and wife, Amanda, Adam Whitworth, Sean Whitworth, Tristan Whitworth, Dylan Whitworth, Kevin Whitworth, Nina D. Whitworth, Kasey Whitworth, Bobby Whitworth, Brianna Whitworth, Brandon Whitworth, Jonathan Whitworth, Jonah Whitworth, Micah Whitworth, Austin Foster and Tanner Foster; 16 great-grandchildren, David Ash, III, Nathan Ash, Bryan Ash, Kaitlyn Cole, Tyler Perry, Kylee Jones, Archer Allen, Dominic Madron, Jayden De Jesus, Megan Dominquez, Jayden Dominquez, Christen Whitworth, Austin Whitworth, Skyler Whitworth, Michael Whitworth and Xavier Whitworth; one great-great-granddaughter, Layla Dawn Ash; three aunts; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, too many to count, but not too many to love.
Pallbearers will be David Ash III, Nathan Ash, Bryan Ash, James Perry, Casey Perry and Tyler Perry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Delores’ name may be directed to Cowboy Church of Corsicana, 5864 W. Hwy 31, Corsicana, Texas 75151.
Visitation with her family will be 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 16th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend Road, in Waco. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 17th at Cowboy Church of Corsicana, 5864 W. Hwy 31, in Corsicana with Pastor Derek Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
