Derrick Glen walker, 58 of Waco, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 at his home.
Funeral Service: 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Derrick Glen Walker was born on May 16th, 1960 to proud parents Lewis and Johnnie Mae Walker. Derrick attended Waco public schools, where he graduated from Waco High School. After completing high school, Derrick went on to further his education at TSTI. BoBo met Annie Caesar and was blessed with two sons.
He was employed by the City of Waco and other companies throughout the city until his health began to fail.
BoBo, as he was known affectionately by family and friends, fought a good fight. He enjoyed just being with family and friends. He liked having fun and joking with everyone. He never met a stranger.
Derrick was preceded in death by his sister Yvette Rhea and brother Larry Lynn Walker; maternal grandparents John and Lucille Daniel and paternal grandparents Lewis and Mamie Walker.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents Johnnie & (Maryland) Bolds of Waco, Lewis Walker of Waco; two sons, Derrick and Stephen Caesar of Dallas, Texas; Aunts & Uncles Joyce (Elroy )Cross, Evelyn Patton, Ann Rector, Mary (Joe) Eastland, John (Barbara) Daniel all of Waco, Thelma Sands of San Antonio, Rev. James (Patricia) Daniel, Isabelle King of Waco, Mattie Wormley of Killeen, Eula Evans of Los Angles, California, and a host of relatives and friends.

Bubbly BOBO, we never saw this coming. GOD takes the best for a reason. Gonna miss your voice of wisdom. Never saw a frown on your face, always smiling & speaking to others. You were a friendly person, who allowed GOD to use you. Your light will forever live in our hearts, especially mines. We love you, but GOD loved you best. #Rip
