Domingo Reyes, Jr, 73 of Elm Mott, was welcomed into Heaven, Wednesday, November 1, 2017.
Visitation: Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco.
Funeral Service: Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11:00AM at Lake Shore Funeral Home in Waco.
Burial: Oakwood Cemetery
Domingo was born September 15, 1944 in Gonzales, Texas to the late Domingo Reyes, Sr. and Abelina Garcia Reyes. After high school, Domingo served his country honorably in the United States Army. He met the love of his life, Maria Soledad Piña, in Houston and they were married September 24, 1979. Domingo was a welder by trade and worked for many years in the fabrication industry. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and also enjoyed camping with his family. He was a superior marksman, whenever he aimed his gun, he always made his mark. Domingo and Maria have lived in the Elm Mott area for over 33 years.
Domingo is preceded in death by his parents, Domingo, Sr. and Abelina Reyes; his brothers, Jesse Reyes and Isidro Reyes; and his grandson, Jorge Reyes, Jr.
Domingo leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of over 38 years, Maria Soledad Reyes; his adoring daughters, Mary Reyes Moreno and husband, Henry, Jessica Reyes Garcia and husband, Richard, Sandy Reyes and fiancé, James Smith, Jeannette Reyes and husband, Jorge Reyes, Annette Reyes Franco and husband, Abraham, Janie Reyes and fiancé, Nick Diaz, Crystal Reyes and fiancé, Daniel Salazar; 16 grandchildren, Benjamin Moreno, Besayda Moreno, Anthony Garcia, Andrew Garcia, Jaylon Smith, Lexes Reyes, Jorge Luis Reyes, Alenna Reyes, Annabella Reyes, Allison Franco, Alyssa Franco, Jasmine Hinojosa, Mariah Hinojosa, Aaliyah Hinojosa, Ryan Diaz, and Milla Salazar; numerous siblings along with a host of other loving family members and friends.
