Donna Lambert passed away April 4, 2021 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer with her husband by her side.
Service Information: A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
Donna was born to Dolores Jane Chase and Edwin Harry Costello, Sr. February 16, 1965 in San Mateo, California where she lived for a few years before moving to Louisiana. She lived there until she met the love of her life and moved to Texas. Donna and Weldon Lambert got married July 4, 2005 and later moved to Waco to help with their grand-babies.
Donna loved to read, rather it be in paper form or electronically, she always had a book in her hand. When she wasn’t reading, she was playing with her grandchildren. Family time was important to Donna; she loved to be around her grandchildren and children. She enjoyed cooking for a family gathering or just sitting around and enjoying each others company. She was an amazing cook and hard worker and was adored by her regular customers. She was fun loving and laid back and really enjoyed the simple things and life. She always made friends where she went and always had a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed by everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dolores Chase.
Donna is survived by husband, Weldon Lambert; three children, Jeff Lambert of Whitney, Kimberly Powell and husband, Brian of China Spring, and son, Luke Lambert of China Spring; her grandchildren, Zoei and Dylan Powell and Abygail and Gabriel; sister, Mary Martin, and husband, Richard, of Louisiana, brothers, Edwin Harry Costello Jr, and Keven Coffey of Louisiana; and countless nieces and nephews.
