Dorothy (Dot) Frances Stedman McGraw Cole, 90, passed away December 16 in Waco, after a ferocious battle with cancer.
Celebration of Life: 1:00 pm, Friday, December 20, at Beacon Hill Baptist Church, 1912 Monte Vista Street, Waco. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
Dot was born February 23, 1929 in Tenaha, Texas. She attended East Texas Baptist College and married William (Bill) McGraw, Jr. in 1950. She and Bill raised two children, Bill and Charlotte. Her greatest pleasures were singing and serving with her husband, Bill, in their many roles in music ministry, finding beauty in nature and in people, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 1998 and her second husband, John Cole, in 2007.
She is survived by her children, Charlotte Bowling and Bill McGraw and wife, Sherry; grandchildren, Bryan Bowling and wife, Rachel and Kevin Bowling and wife, Cara; and great-grandchildren, Camden, Charlotte, Madison, and Hannah. She was cherished by her family and will always be in our hearts.
