Mr Wink, our hearts are broken over your great loss. Dovie is one of the sweetest ladies God ever made. Nothing compared to being swallowed up in one of her hugs! We love you and are praying for you.
I worked with Dovie at JC Penney when it was downtown. Always a joy to be around. One of the sweetest people I know. Then my mom worked with her at the Richland Mall. You always knew when it was time for her to get off, Wink would be sitting by the back door to give her a ride. Thru the years I would always see her at family and close friends funerals that she and I would attend. We would laugh about always meeting that way.
Gonna miss that sweet sweet lady.
To Aunt Dovie’s family, each and everyone of you… she was so very special to me and I have many memories of her. God bless you all. God brought one more special angel home!
Mr. Winkelmann, Darlene & Karen-
Tears flowed when we read about Mrs. Winkelmann. She was one of the dearest of the dear. We can hear her kind voice, see her beautiful smile and feel her warm hug, and will always treasure having known her, and y’all, since our Brook Avenue days.
What a comfort to know she is now with Buster and our Jesus. I know that mom and dad were in the welcoming party.
We will keep you in thought and prayer, knowing how hard it is to have a wonderful and beloved mom go before.
We love you all so very much,
Donna Adams Zemanek

My heart goes out to you at the passing of your mother. What a sweet lady she was. May God give you His Peace during the time.
Just like all of her sisters that I was fortunate enough to know, Dovie had the sweetest smile, and a twinkle in her eye.
I know Dovie and Kat have been having a giggle fest in heaven since Dovie arrived.
Cling tight to your memories, family, and they will get you through the days until you are reunited in Glory.
With love and respect,
Greg Burt
