Life Tribute “Slideshow” Guidelines

As part of some of our Memorial Packages, we produce a DVD Life Tributes- a slideshow of pictures you provide to share those memories with your family and friends. Therefore, you need to have all of your photos to the funeral home before 12 Noon one day before your first scheduled event. Seventy-five (75) TOTAL pictures will be accepted for use in the DVD Life Tribute.

It is preferred that you bring the photos to your arrangement meeting. However you may provide them to a staff person separately. Electronic photos can be emailed* or provided to us on a CD or flash drive (in .jpg format, please). We accept hard copies too but we MUST ask the family to remove all photos from their frames. The funeral home will NOT remove any photos from their frames. Again, all photos need to be at our office by 12 Noon the day BEFORE the first scheduled event (usually visitation).

We will create a personalized DVD Life Tribute to help celebrate the life of your loved one. This DVD will be yours to keep. Many families choose to play the DVD at the visitation and even order additional copies ($28 each) to share with family members. This Life Tribute will also be embedded onto the online obituary at LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.

Please let us know the number of pictures in each email (ie: email 6 of 6) so we know we received all of the photographs. Please call us after sending your email(s) during normal business hours to further communicate any instructions to us.
