Earline Sanders, 95, a longtime resident of Crawford, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation: Monday, December 4, 2017 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco.
Funeral Service:Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 2:00PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 140 Prairie Chapel Road in Crawford
Burial: St. Paul Memorial Park in Crawford, where Earline will be laid to rest beside her husband, Ed Sanders. Pallbearers will be, Tyler Welty, Mason Welty, Tye Alambar, Tate Alambar, Cutter Haigood and Jason Miller.
Earline was born June 14, 1922 in Brenham, Texas, one of seven children to the late Henry and Selma Witt Schroeder. She was baptized in the Lutheran Church in Brenham on August 13, 1922 and was later confirmed on May 13, 1945 at Zion Lutheran Church in McGregor. Earline and her family were longtime members at Zion Lutheran before transferring their membership to St Paul Lutheran Church in Crawford. Earline married the love of her life, Ed Sanders, October 8, 1940. She worked for many years at Wall’s Manufacturing as a seamstress, sewing coveralls. Earline was an excellent cook; her family will miss her fried chicken, pancakes and her chocolate chip cookies. She enjoyed spending time with family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Earline will be truly missed and her legacy will truly be cherished by her family and friends. Earline is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Selma Schroeder; her six siblings, Gilbert Schroeder, Robert Schroeder, Rynerd Schroeder, Lonnie Schroeder, Edwin Schroeder and WillaMae Allen; her grandson, Tony Hennig; and her husband of over 59 years, Ed Sanders, who died in March of 1999.
Earline leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Betty Hennig and husband, Tommy and Roger Sanders and wife, Cyndi; grandchildren, Justin Hennig, Christine Miller and husband, Jason, Donnetta Haigood, Tyler Welty and wife, Susannah, Mason Welty, Tommy Hennig,Jr. and wife, Dona, Connie Hennig, Tracy Hennig, and Timmy Hennig; brother-in-law, J.B. Allen; great-grandchildren, Kordia Miller, Tye Alambar, Tate Alambar, Cutter Haigood and Bryson Welty; great-great-grandchildren, Aubrey Alambar and Jax Alambar; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.

We were so very sorry to hear about the passing of Earline. She was such a wonderful person.
It was always wonderful to visit with her during the reunion . We will truly miss her wonderful smile and sincerity towards others.
I am sorry we are not able to attend the funeral but unfortunately my mother’s health is not good.
Although it’s difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow/
