Edith Leland Wilkerson, 53, of Waco, passed away Monday, September 2, 2013. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10am, Monday, September 9th, in Rosemound Cemetery. Thoughts and Memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.
Edith was born April 5, 1960 to Robert and Virginia Kemp Rush in Waco. She was a member of Bible Way Church in Waco. She enjoyed writing poetry, solving puzzles and crosswords, and had an impressive collection of boots! She loved everything to do with Indian art and history, including turquoise collectibles and jewelry. Edith spent her life as a devoted mother and loving grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Ronnie Robinson.
She is survived by two daughters, Marsha Robinson, and Deloris Fagge and husband Andre Perez; nine grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; two brothers, Rick Riggs and Robert Robinson, Jr.; a sister, Barbara Jones; 2 nieces, Virginia O’Neal and Patricia O’Neal; and many other dear family members and friends.
The family would like to thank a few "very special angels" for their support, guidance, and love at this most difficult time. You are a blessing.
