Dear Jo, our hearts go out to you and the kids, Ed was one of Travis’ best friends and he misses him as I know you do. Today he said he was going fishing for ED, as we were talking about ED and all the times and stories of fishing tails, yes, he is having a hard time with this, as I know you are too. We could never say enought about how we feel about Ed and you. He was always the most kindest and sweetest man and I know that he is loving Heaven. Praying for you Jo, God be with you and the kids and remember that ED will never hurt again and is enjoying fishing his own private stock tank full of Catfish and Crappie. He will be catching the bigger fish today, while laughing at Travis down here catching the small bass and talking about how he would eat them instead of putting them back, ha ha.
I met Ed thru my work. He was always friendly and smiling! He spoke often about his family, especially his grandson. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. May God Bless your family.
Our prayers are with this family..soo sorry for your loss!
Ed and Chris,
Sorry to hear about your Dad. Sending Prayers for Strength to your Family.
I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Muenzler’s passing. My condolences to the family.
My dear sister, niece, nephews, great nephew and extended family in Waco …words cannot express the deep sadness felt with the loss of Big Ed. He was without a doubt, a very special person and a great guy. He will be sorely missed in our family. I will forever treasure my memories of “goin’ fishin'” as a young boy with Big Ed and israel Sr. at S. Padre Island whenever you would visit (who else but Big Ed and Jo would travel with fishin’ gear in a snazzy, sky blue Buick LeSabre?!).
Rachel, Nicholas, and I offer our deepest sympathy, love, thoughts, and prayers to all of you during this difficult time.
Jovita and kids, we are all suffering the sudden tragic loss of Edward Meunzler, Jr and it may seem no words can alleviate the grief you are feeling in knowing your world will not be same as before. But in these times of tears, remember the laughter and hope it helps to know you will have your loving memories forever. May God bring you comfort and peace during this time of loss.
You were Jovi’s and the kids’ rock, but God wanted you up there for a reason. Because I could not stop for death, he kindly stopped for me. The carriage held but just ourselves and immortality. Ed, you are very much in our hearts and mind, and I think of this poem because it is hard to believe you are gone. We will miss you very much. (We will always see your smile in Deirdre, Werito, Chris, and Marquito.) Rest in peace Ed, and until we all meet again in eternity. -Olga Villela

Deirdre and Ed, In those quiet moments, Psalms 46:10 comes to me, “Be still and know that I am God,” and I am often comforted. I am praying for peace of heart and of mind for both of you and your family.
Dear Jovita and Family,
We were so sorry to hear about Edward. I worked at Brazos Electric Cooperative for 30 years. Ed did most of our plumbing work for many, many years. He was the best plumber. We knew we could trust him to do the job right! Not only was he a great plumber, he was a good friend and a wonderful Christian man. I am praying for you’ll at this difficult time.

My husband, Joe, also knew Ed from his work. Joe was a firefighter (just retired) and repairs lawn sprinkler systems and tests backflow valves. Joe and Ed ran into each other quite frequently. Ed worked hard all of his life. If he told you something, you knew you could depend on him. Edward was one of the good guys. You and you family are in my thoughts and prayers.
