Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, John and Evelyn Stewart; her younger sister, Margaret; and her beautiful grandson, Joey.

Elaine passed away at Providence Hospital on the morning of Sunday, October 6, 2024, in Waco, TX.  She was surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren holding her hand. Elaine, better known to everyone as Nannie, was so loved.  She was the sweetest, gentlest soul and loves her Lord Jesus!  She was a loving mother and an even more loving grandmother to her grandchildren. She loved to spoil them and always showed up with some sort of sweets or gifts that she would secretly slide over to them.   Nannie is going to be so missed by everyone but more importantly, she will be remembered by many. Happy Heavenly Birthday sweet girl!  We love you dearly

  2. Dianne Whited Whiteley

So sorry to hear of your loss. So many memories of your Mom and her family. I am Ray and Gertrude’ s daughter. Do you remember visiting with my grandparents Jim Bo and Artie Whited? I now go to church with your Dad. My prayers will be with you at this time.

  3. My world changed for the better when you married my dad. I not only gained a gracious and loving mom but sisters too. You were my rock when I became a mother and throughout my youth and adulthood you instilled in me values that I pass into my children. We laughed often and I will cherish our memories. I know you are at peace and shining a light down. You are missed, and I love you. 🕊️

    All my love,
    Danielle
