Patti & Lori,
I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
God Bless
Lori,
I am so sorry to hear about your mom and wish I could have come to visitation and the funeral. It’s never easy to lose someone you love, especially one of your parents. I still think about my dad often. My heart goes out to you and your family. I am here for you.
Love ya,
Carolyn
I am saddened to hear of the loss for all of us, of Joanne- the most gracious and positive lady I have ever encountered! It was a joy for me to visit with her at St. Cath’s gift shop and I will miss her–she is the reason I stopped by so often!
To the Douglas Family,
My Mother was a resident of St.Catherines.Due to a stroke, she was unable to speak and had very limited mobility. One of the few things she could do was visit the gift shop.Mrs.Douglas was always so patient, sweet and caring. It would make my Mother’s day to go and "shop".She was a very special person and will be truly missed.
Joanne, You will be truly missed here. The gift shop will not be the same without you. No one will ever make is a pleasant as you did. One thing is for sure, I bet you have the prettiest necklaces in Heaven. Rest in Peace friend.
Joanne was the best friend ever. She was my mentor from the time I came to Providence in 1993. She took me under her wing and helped me learn the ropes! Providence has truly lost a wonderful light! But we have all lost a wonderful Christian woman. She made friends with everyone she met! You couldn’t not love her! She was truly a bright light in a dark world!
We have lost a wonderful part of God’s creation! She was a very special lady! They don’t make them like her anymore!
I was blessed to have her as a friend! I am a better person for having known her!
Joanne, thank you for being my friend!
My prayers are with you all.
Patti & Family,

Lori,

JoAnne, you will always be in my thoughts. You took me under your wing when we worked together so many years ago at JCPenney. I never forgot you or the patience that you showed. I will miss you. Thank you.
Brenda,
You and your family will always have a special place in my heart. Stay strong. You are so much like your mother. I am always here if you need me.
Brenda,
Your mother is a very special lady. She will always have a special place in my heart and memories. I know that the Providence family has lost a bright light of kindness and love, but her light will always shine in all who knew her. You and your family will always be in my prayers.
I am so sorry to hear of your Mothers passing.
I knew Joanne from Career Girl.
But more recently from Providence Health Center.
My sister works at Providence
She reintroduced me to Joanne years ago.
She was a sweet Lady.
My thoughts & prayers are with your family.

My thouhgts and prayers are with you at this time.
I am so sorry I can’t be there with you. I loved your mother so much. She was always so wonderful to me and I have the best memories of tents in the living room, cardboard forts in the backyard, hamburger patties on white bread, chocolate milk, career girl, and "love y’all" every day!
Growing up, I spent almost as much time in the Douglas house as my own. Truly a home away from home. There’s nothing better than a best friend’s mom. We’d sit and gossip, watch MTV and laugh. Anytime I rode over on my ten-speed, their door was open. After slumber parties, Ray would wake us saying, "Go get in mother’s bed" and we would. What a wonderful legacy and family she left behind. She will be truly missed.
To my special and loving Aunt. We will miss you.
We are sorry for your loss. Joann will be missed by everyone who knew her. I have a special place in my heart for her. Your family was blessed to have her in your life. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
