Duane Snodgrass, 52, of China Spring, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019.
Memorial Service: 9:00 AM, Monday, March 11 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Duane was born October 18, 1966 to Morris and Barbara (Davis) Snodgrass in Lawrence, Kansas. Duane was a very hard worker from an early age. He worked with concrete molds before and after school, he learned mechanics and carpentry, and he eventually became a well rounded “jack-of-all-trades”. He could fix nearly anything and if he couldn’t he would just build it. Duane was one of the toughest men from his hearty handshake to bearing pain most people couldn’t manage; all without complaint, his family’s modern day Superman. Despite his rough and tough demeanor, when it came to kids and animals, his touch became soft and loving. Duane always made you laugh through his crude humor and always had a smile on his face right to the end. That’s how Duane Snodgrass lived his life. Tough, loving and with a smile.
He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Snodgrass.
Duane was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather who is survived by his wife, Linda Snodgrass; children: Bethany Snodgrass, Amanda Adams Taylor and husband Jimmy, Audrey Adams Eichler and husband Aaron, Nick Adams and wife Stephanie, Naomi Oakley, Christopher Chappell, Meagan Rodriguez and husband Anthony; 12 grandchildren; father, Morris Snodgrass; brother, Sam Yates; and several fur babies.

My condolences for your loss.
I will miss my brother.
I’m so sorry for your loss and am sending prayers and love to you all.
Love,
Amie Valdez
Please accept my sincerest condolences for the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. I know how hard it is to loose someone we love at such a young age of 52. When I loose a loved one to death I always look to Jesus’ words found at John 5:28+29 and also Revelation 21:3+4, they bring us a great deal of encouragement to get through the hard times. Please read them for yourself and be encouraged as I was.
