Emilio Cavazos, 73, of Waco and originally from the Rosenberg area, died Thursday, November 23, at his home in Waco.
Memorial Service: Will be held at a later date.
Emilio was born January 1, 1944 in Sabastian, Texas to Yrineo and Rafaela Cavazos. He received his Masters degree from Pan American University in bilingual education and retired after 30 years of teaching at Lamar Consolidated in Rosenberg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gustavo, Leonel, Jose and Abel; and his sisters, Amalia and Maria.
Emilio is survived by his wife, Susan of Waco; son, Michael Cavazos and wife, Jennifer; daughter, Michelle Trenery and husband, Michael; grandson, Garrett Cavazos; granddaughter, Jillian Cavazos; and siblings, Eliverto Cavazos, Melida Martinez and Samuel Cavazos.
