Erika Zarazua, 24, of Waco, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Lake Shore Funeral Home
Rosary: will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, February 11, at Lake Shore Funeral Home
Mass of Christian Burial: 12:00 noon Friday, February 12, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Benji as the celebrant
Burial: Waco Memorial Park Cemetery
Erika was born on July 7, 1996 in Waco, the daughter of Eduardo Zarazua and Rosario Diaz. She attended University High School where she graduated in 2014. Erika had a deep love for photography and nature. Capturing beautiful views was something she always enjoyed. She was passionate about her job and helping others. She did her job well and always with a great smile on her face.
Erika is survived by her mother, Rosario Diaz; father, Eduardo Zarazua; and siblings, Debanhi Reyes, Yaneli Reyes, Eduardo Zarazua and Brisa Zarazua.

Erika was a friend of mine in high school. She was always happy and joking around. I’m so sorry for your loss. She will always be remembered with the big smile she usually wore. Prayers to the family.
I have no words that can express my feelings effectively. Erika was a joy, funny, protector, a teacher, a friend., insightful, Erika was a nut, we laughed hard and often at work and her laughter was truly infectious. Erika really loved our older patients, she was willing to help them where she could. Erika will be greatly missed.
Erika, was a small ball of fire. But once she let you into her heart she would give you the shirt off her back. She was a Diamond in the rough. From her beautiful smile to her hard work.She was truly a Angel that came and showed up to share that Love 💕 is in us all. We will never forget her. I Thank God for sharing his Angel with us.
