She graduated from Moore HS in 1961, married that same year and became a homemaker. Doris was known for her love of her family and friends, fishing, cooking, and gardening, but most of all she was known for her Love of Jehovah. She dedicated her life to Jehovah in 1973 and served faithfully until she fell asleep in death.
Her parents preceded her in death along with her 1st husband Herbert R. Menefee Jr; her son, Kevin R. Menefee; and her brothers, Freddie, Billy, and Leonard Tucker.
She is survived by her husband, Charles H. Baylor; daughters, Bernadette Jenkins, and Selima Menefee; stepdaughters, Loretta Pryor and Arletha Menefee; sisters, Betty Touchstone and Minnie Holmes; brothers, Charles and Joel Tucker; sister-in-law, Eunice Tucker and brother-in-law, Eugene Touchstone; grandchildren, Raven Reed, Tyler Reed, Valeri Reed and Nassiah Smith; ‘Bonus’ son and daughter, Juan and Nancy Ramirez and ‘bonus’ grandkids, Eduardo, Melina, Jonathan, and Naomi Ramirez; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Doris was convinced that the promised resurrection spoken of in the Bible is real and that it will soon be fulfilled so until we see her again, hold fast to your faith and run a good race.
