Fidencio Garcia Marquez, Sr., 77, of Waco, passed away Thursday, August 1st at his residence. Funeral services will be 10AM Monday, August 5th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Rodriquez officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Sunday at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Fidencio was born November 16, 1935 in Moody to Bacilio and Delores "Lola" (Garcia) Marquez. He worked for Pepsi Cola co. of Waco for over 30 years as a warehouse foreman. After retirement, he continued working for Enterprise Car Rental in Waco until he became ill. He was a member of The Waco Missions and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Concepcion Marquez, and Roy G. Marquez.
Survivors include wife, Maria Louise Marquez; sons, Fidencio Marquez, Jr. and wife Sandra, and Marc Marquez and wife Lucinda; daughters, Elvira M. Limon and husband Jorge G., and Kelly Marquez; 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; sisters, Julia G. Diaz, and Faye Zamarripa; brothers, Julian G. Marquez, Humberto G. Marquez, Daniel G. Marquez, David G. Marquez, Roberto G. Marquez, and Samuel G. Marquez.
Pallbearers will be Marc Marquez, Jr., Marc Marquez, III., Mike Rodarte, Keith Marquez, Milton Marquez, Fidencio Alec Marquez.
The family would like to acknowledge a special thanks to MD Anderson in Houston, Texas Home Health Hospice, Matthew and Letisha Marquez, and Arthur Pyburn.

My gramps so many tears and so much pain in my heart but you was ready to go home so you can be healthy again i know your happy now ima miss you everyday, but when we meet up again ima want some rocky road ice cream, and honey bunches of oats with almonds, remember that love you gramps..
