Francisco Perez Rabon, a proud veteran of the United States Navy passed away on April 26, 2023 at the age of 84 after his long battle with cancer.

Francisco, also known as Frank, was born May 23, 1938 in Barrigada, Guam and was the second child of Francisco and Engracia Rabon’s 14 children. Frank and his family survived the Japanese invasion of Guam World War II and were prisoners of war. He lived in Guam until he joined the United States Navy six days after his 18th birthday. After serving his country, he pursued employment with LTV in Grand Prairie and then in 1971 began working with the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier, where he later retired after 21 years of service. After retiring, he started working as a commissioned Security Officer for offices in Richardson, Texas.
Frank and Lolet came to Waco, Texas in 2017 to be close to her niece’s family, Kay and Steven, Canaan, Doyle and Lexington. Lolet and Frank had been married 23 years. Frank loved to read and study the bible, watch any kind of war movie, watch the birds and loved animals.
Frank is survived by his wife, Lolet; children, Frank, Judy, Lety, Lola, Francis and James; siblings, James, Pedro, Linda, June, Anthony, and Benjamin; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Francisco and Engracia Rabon; siblings, Jesus, Cecilia, Jose, Ambrosio, David, Kenneth and Michael; and Maria Ervin, mother to Lety, Lola, Francis and James.
