Gay Raabe, 59, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at an area hospital. Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 13, at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.
Gay was born on February 15, 1951 in Rosebud, Texas, to Edgar and Alma Weiss Raabe. Gay graduated from Rosebud-Lott High School in 1969. She was a long-time member of the Antioch Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading and especially playing Bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Gene Raabe.
Survivors include daughter, Christina Hill and husband, Jeff of China Spring; daughter, Vanessa Harris and husband, Jeff, of Chickasaw, Ok.; son, William Tindell and wife, Terrie, of Waco; and daughter, Jennifer Tindell, also of Waco: brother, Butch Raabe, of Aquilla, and sister, Shirley Reed and husband, John of Waco; grandchildren, Lindsey, Regan, Tyler, Brooke, Parker, Jacob, Aubrey, Abigail, Poe, Ethan, Tyler, Corina, Elijah, Owen, Zachary, Aaron, and Matthew, and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
