Gearld Shaw, 68, of Waco, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at a local hospital. Visitation and viewing will be 6PM Wednesday, June 13th with funeral services beginning at 7PM at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. Gearld Edward Shaw was born November 20, 1943 in Coryell Co. to Jesse and Lucille (Saulter) Shaw. He was by trade a painter and drywall man who will be remembered by his co-workers and clients as a true artisan. He loved the outdoors and hunted and fished all of his life. He loved a big family gathering, a campfire, a good joke and a cold beer. He was a man with a true zest for life and all its experiences.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his children, Stephen Shaw and wife Angela of China Spring, Troy Shaw and wife Andra of Pearsall, Aleshia Calvery of Waco, and Kristopher Shaw and wife Brittany of Cache, OK; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Shaw and Sammy Shaw; sisters, Bernice Horton and Shirley Bynum, all of Waco; and numerous other relatives.
Gearld leaves behind loving family members and too many friends to count.
