Condolence Messages

  1. abc wrecker service

    so sorry for your loss

  2. Gene had a hay truck in the early 60s. His dad bailed hay and would get the sons to help out. I pitched in on one occasion that I remember real well. We had a great time. I was only 11 or 12 years old. Gene mostly needed a driver, but I insisted on loading, so we traded out some on jobs.

When I was doing the driving, I guess Gene or Van (One of the helpers), must have thought I was deaf. When we had a load and the stacker hollered whoa, they hollered so loud I thought I needed to make an emergency stop; nearly threw the stacker off the top of the hay once or twice. I finally learned not to stomp on the brakes.

I appreciate Gene. My condolences to Gene’s family.

My Daddy, "Pete" loved Gene all his life. I always saw Daddy’s face looking back at me when I looked at Gene. He was much larger, but they looked so much alike it made me smile. Hope they have dairy farms in heaven.

    Dear Campbell Family,

My heart is heavy to have to say goodbye to Gene Raymond. I have many fond childhood memories of hanging out in the dairy barn watching him milk the cows. I was a chatterbox city kid with a million questions about the cows, milking machines etc…he answered every one in his slow Texas drawl.

My prayer to his wife and each one of his kids and family members, is the Lord will wrap his loving arms around you and heal your broken hearts.

    Love to all,
    Suzan Dosier Jones
