Glen Martin, 88 of Waco, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015.
Visitation: Monday, December 23, 2015 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend, Waco
Services: Graveside – Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 2:00PM at Flint Creek Cemetery, The Grove, Texas.
Glen was born October 21, 1927 in Appleton, Missouri to the late Raymond and Ida Martin. After graduating high school, Glen joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for over 23 years. Glen married the love of his life, Betty Nell Martin. After his years of service, Glen worked for several years for the Bellmead Police Department and HEB. In later years, Glen and Betty owned numerous tour buses; they enjoyed taking large groups to events all over the country. They were hired to make many trips to several Billy Graham Conferences and down to Louisiana to the casinos.
Glen will be remembered with love by his wife, Betty Nell Martin; numerous other loving family members and friends.

Betty, your Glen , with his suspenders, slow smile and wry humor, was a favorite of mine.
For about 15 years during the 80s and 90s he was our gracious, caring tour driver, escorting Me and many groups of seniors all over the south. He loved you and always talked about you with love. I’d lost touch over the years, but will always remember his kind, dedicated service, he helped us create many memories!!! So sorry for your loss.
