Glenn Robert Chaneyworth Sr., age 95, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. He was born to the late Raymond and Buna Mae Mooney Chaneyworth on March 12,1928.

Memorial Service: 3PM Saturday, October 7 at Western Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Rufus Chaneyworth and Rev. Kip Osborne officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the Garden Room.

He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Billie Ruth Farek Chaneyworth and his two children, daughter, LaNell Woodward Smith and husband Harvey, and son, Glenn Robert (Robby) Chaneyworth Jr.; brothers, Rev. Rufus Chaneyworth and wife Patricia, Jack Chaneyworth and wife Barbara; sister, Mary Ellen Richardson; sister-in-law, Marcelias Klein and husband James; brother-in-law, Eldon Farek; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Glenn is preceded in death by brothers, Alton Chaneyworth and Billy Charles Chaneyworth; son-in-law, Rick Woodward; and daughter-in-law, Deborah Chaneyworth.

Glenn was a WWII Veteran in the Navy and served on the USS JASON repair ship. He was honorably discharged in 1947. He was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church for 66 years where he actively served as deacon, usher, and greeter. Glenn was an avid fisherman, and he won many fishing trophies from bass fishing tournaments. He was a member of the Waco Bass Club and Ducks Unlimited. He worked at Hillcrest Hospital and American Income Life Insurance Company before opening Chaneyworth Printing later purchasing Traylor Printing and Office Supplies thus keeping the name until he retired in 2005. Glenn was loved by many and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
