Guy Nell Collinsworth, 81, of Mart, passed away Wednesday, September 09, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be 10AM Saturday, September 12 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Fulton and Sam Ed Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Mart Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Friday, September 11 at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend, Waco. Guy Nell was born July 21, 1928 in the Little Elm Community in Limestone County to Elmer Adron and Ivy Opal (Simmons) Shehorn. She married H.R. (Buddy) Collinsworth on April 7, 1945 in the Criswell Community.
She was preceded in death by son-in-law, Joe Kimball; great grandson, Samuel Connor Kruger; and great granddaughter, Makayla Elizabeth Lewis.
Survivors include husband of 64 years, Buddy Collinsworth of Mart; daughters, Ray Nell Lewis and husband, Sam Ed of Mart, Gail Kruger and husband, Waymon of Weatherford, and Deborah Sue Kimball of Mart, son, Enoch Collinsworth and wife, Ranelle of Weatherford; ten grandchildren: Waymon Kruger, Mike Kruger and wife Wendi, Donna Lucia and husband Tommy, Adron Lewis and wife Amy, Brad Lewis and wife LaDonna, John Kimball, Becky Rice and husband Trenton, Andrea Collinsworth and Zach, Jessica Collinsworth, and Hannah Collinsworth; fifteen great grandchildren: Trey, Cameron, Kaleb, Mikelyn, Chase, Nick, Megan, Jacob, Madyson, Emma, Kylar, Erin, Tracer, Chody, and Hadley; sister, Joyce Stone of Mart; brother, Wade H. Shehorn and wife Ann of Waco; sister-in-law, Janie Blann of Aledo; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
