Herbert Herschel Harrison, 81, of Ross passed away early Sunday morning, January 29, 2023.
He was born to Oran and Lillie Bell (Harris) Harrison June 10, 1941 in West, Texas. Herschel was an avid hunter and fisherman most of his life. He spent most of his working life at Crankshaft and Valve where he worked as a mechanic. He never truly retired, as he was always working on something with an engine at his home and doing odd jobs for people.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oran and Lillie Bell Harrison; brothers, Charles Harrison, Edmond May and Vance May; grandson, Dustin Harrison.
He is survived by sons, Richard Harrison (Debbie) and Randy Harrison; daughter, Tina Adams; stepdaughters, Velia Goldsmith, Dora Solis, and Vickie Mackie; sister, Billie Herring; and grandchildren, Michael Harrison and Megan Trevathan. Herschel also leaves behind many extended family and friends to honor his memory.
