Howard Jobe, 78 of Waco, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021.

Funeral Service: 10AM Saturday, November 27 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. A private burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Howard was born on October 5, 1943 in Waco to Charlie and Elizabeth Jobe.

Howard was preceded in death by his wife, June Brownlow Jobe; parents; numerous siblings; and one great-granddaughter.

He is survived by sons, Mark Jobe and wife Sandy of Grapevine, and Travis Jobe of Waco; daughter, Decine Jobe Mullen and husband Kevin of Waco; sisters, Charlene Tye of Waco, Maddie Brown of Waco, and Shirley McGovern of Austin; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Howard’s family would like to extend great appreciation and thanks to The Atrium of Bellmead and Providence Hospice Place who contributed to his healthcare.

  1. Howard and June were dear friends of ours. I worked for June at J. J.’s Beauty Salon for many years. He was the love of her life and her loving caregiver till she passed away many lonely years ago for him. They wanted to help everyone out of great love and compassion Our Lord bestowed on them for others. Now they are together again.

  7. I just learned of Howard’s passing and he will be greatly missed. He was always so thoughtful and sweet. I worked with him at Connally/Compton in Waco for years before leaving in 2012. He made sure he called me at the same time every year to tell me Happy Birthday. I will surely miss hearing his sweet voice.
