J D was born November 13,1927 in Streetman to Everett Edward and Anna Laura Lamb. In January 1963 he married his wife of 46 years, Ouida Jonell (Calame) Lamb. Together they raised their two sons and one daughter. J D served in the US Army as a part of the 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Div. in Korea. He worked most of his life in the oil field as a rough necker and a mud hauler. JD was a hard worker and taught his children to do the same. He loved the outdoors and country living. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all of his heart. On May 28, 2000 JD accepted the Lord Jesus into his heart; and he was never the same. He was a tireless faithful worker and member of Rock Creek Church. He will be remembered and missed by all.
