Jackie Wayne McDow, 61, of Waco, passed away May 7, 2019.
Memorial Service: 11:00 am, July 13, at Lovers Leap in Waco Texas, at Cameron Park, There will be a balloon release. Reception following at Rockies Roadhouse. Come as you are because that’s how he loved you!!
He was a loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather, son, and the best of friend you could ever have. He lived a life well lived. If you knew him you loved him. He spent many years playing the drums in several bands including Classie Ballou, until he dedicated his life to his daughter and caring for his beloved mother and stepfather Myrlene and Ray Roberts. He loved to fish on the river with Myrlene, catching catfish! He was a ray of sunshine and the world will be a bit dimmer without his laugh and jokes. We all know he is fishing with Myrlene in Heaven now, drinking a cold one catching the big one!
Jackie Wayne was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eva Bell Whittington and Riley Whittington; parents, J.W. McDow and Myrlene Roberts, and stepfather, Ray Roberts.
Jackie Wayne is survived by his daughter, Nicole Relynn McDow; grandson, Bradin Wayne Miller; stepson, Justin Eugene Head; sisters, Nancy Wilson, Sandy Hays, Betty Campbell, Pat Sharpless; stepbrothers, Keith and Randy Roberts; niece, Tiffany Daughtry; his beloved Reagan “Wayne” Daughtry; nephew, Joey Brooks and Kaylee Brooks, and Sugar Baby the 3rd of whom he loved dearly.
Special thanks to Interim hospice for the care and support given through this time.
He is forever missed and never forgotten. So here’s to you Jackie Wayne!!
