Jacob Christian Juhl

Jacob Christian Juhl, 32, of Austin, passed away unexpectedly September 20, 2019 at his home.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 5, at New Vision Family Fellowship, 5882 Rogers Hill Rd in West.

Jacob was born October 6, 1986, in Waco, to Jerry and Marsha Juhl. He was an artist, whether it came to his profession as a chef, his love for music, or his hobby of acrylic painting, he always created a masterpiece. He loved the outdoors, especially the mountains and the snow. But the thing he loved the most was his family. He especially loved his two favorite people in the world, his niece and nephew. He was especially close to his mom and loved to talk to her any chance he got. He never met a stranger and could start a conversation that brought everyone together. He could make others laugh and he also loved to laugh. He believed in living life to the fullest and not taking anything for granted. Jacob was passionate about everything he did and would defend his beliefs without hesitation.

Jacob was preceded in death by his nephew; maternal grandparents; paternal grandparents; an aunt; and an uncle.

He is survived by his parents, Jerry and Marsha Juhl; sister, Amanda Juhl; brother, Jerry Juhl, Jr.; nephew, Cooper; niece, Alexis; best friend/brother at heart, Gus Woodward; grandparents, Walter and Emily Kent; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.

  1. where do I start prayers for our family. Jacob was one of a kind special nephew. He could always make me laugh and he was funny and adventurous. I will miss him so much very much.

  2. Since he was little, Jacob was a sweetheart. This is a warm, glowing light that we have lost too soon. His laughter, exuberance, and stories about his adventures are going to be missed, and all the memories he’s left behind with us will be remembered with great pain and love.

Austin and I are so terribly sorry to hear that your sweet Jacob has passed away.
We both remember Jacob when you, him and Amanda would come to our church ( River of Life ) in Clifton.
There are such good memories of Jacob and Amanda hanging out with our children Austin and Amber at church running around and playing games.
No words can express the pain that you are going through and our prayer for you is that GOD will give you strength to face the coming days ahead of you.

  5. I am so sorry for your loss. Please try to find comfort in knowing you have the hope of seeing your dear loved one again someday; for the Bible promises “there is going to be a resurrection”. Acts 24:15
