James “Dennis” Bjerke passed away August 24, 2021 at his home in Robinson, Texas with his family by his bedside.
Service Information: There will be a BBQ and memorial held Saturday October 2, 2021 at 706 18th Ave n. Texas City, Texas, from 3pm-9pm. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Dennis was loved by many and had such a huge heart. He touched many people’s lives. He will be dearly missed.
Dennis was born January 26, 1960 to Navaleen Bjerke. He grew up in Texas City, Texas, and lived there until he became ill. Dennis was a painter by occupation and did that for over 40 years. He was employed by Miranda Drywall and Painting for years. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing his guitar, drums, visiting with close friends, cooking, and riding on the Texas City Pike to watch the boats.
Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Navaleen Bjerke; brothers, Danny, Rick; Allen ;Bjerke, and ex-wife, Melanie Williamson.
Dennis is survived by daughters, Ladonna McKinney, and Denise Rowland; sons, DJ Williamson, Jason Johnson, and John Bjerke; grandkids, Adrianna Wimberly, Jacob Bartlett, Gavin, Gabriel, Grant Rowland, Melanie, Connor, James, Ace, Londyn Williamson, Tristan Weaver, Kason and Gemma Johnson; brothers, Donald Bjerke, Tommy, Janior, and Butchie Bjerke; sisters, Carmen Harris, Joy Garza and Yvonne Whittington; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
