James Lee Valentine, III, 27, of Waco, passed away suddenly Sunday, August 11, 2019 at his residence.
Visitation: will be held one hour prior to the Memorial Service at the funeral home.
Memorial Service: 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 17, at Lake Shore Funeral Home with Pastor Joey Crenshaw officiating.
James was born March 24, 1992 in Harrison, Arkansas to James Lee Valentine, Jr. and Hope Waldron Valentine. He proudly served his country in the US Navy as an Emergency Room technician. He was well liked by his associates and loved by his patients. James had a passion for helping people with his gift of comforting and caring for those who needed it. He traveled the World having visited over 17 countries. James was respectful and had a fantastic sense of humor. During his time off, he enjoyed photography, working with his hands and spending time with his family, friends and his dog, Pixie.
James recently returned home after having completed his last tour of duty. He was so excited to be able to be home for the birth of his first nephew, Lucas. After I recent fall, James was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He had the will and strength to fight this battle and selected to undergo surgery. He was recovering well and was released to begin his recovery at home with his family at his side. Sunday, August 11th, James suffered a seizure that took this wonderful young man’s life far too soon.
James was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Valentine, Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Hope Valentine; sister, Danielle and her husband, Seth and their new born son, Lucas; and by a host of friends and associates.
