We are sad to announce the passing of our husband and father, James Roderick Light. Rod was born January 3, 1958 in Hollywood, California and went home to greet Jesus May 1st, 2022. He graduated from Christian Heritage College in El Cajon, California and received is Masters from Azusa Pacific in San Dimas, California.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Tayna; daughter, Kassandra Jay; parents, Bob and Jen Light; sister, Beverly Pickens and a host of nieces and a nephew. Rod was a Godly man that spent his life loving and serving others in the name of Jesus Christ, his Lord.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Antioch Community Church in Waco Saturday, May 7th at 1:00 p.m.
