James Williams, 60, of Waco, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 after a hard fought battle with cancer.
James was born December 7, 1957 in Waurika, Oklahoma to the late Steven James and Ida Ann (Pierce) Williams. He was a “jack of all trades” and a hard worker, working many jobs that required him to be outdoors.
James loved Austin and he would visit every chance he could. He loved animals, nature and was his happiest when he was helping others. He loved the outdoors with the sun shining down on his face and traveling. He also enjoyed listening to Country and Western music, fishing and being on the banks of the Red River in Oklahoma. In fact, he spoke often of the memories made of his Family Reunions there by the Red River.
His wishes were to have his ashes scattered over the Red River in Oklahoma.
He is survived by his daughter, Stepheney Jean Williams and companion, Thomas Barber, of Waco; son, Jeremy Williams and wife, Nikki, of Durant, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Steven, Charles, Charlotte, Seth, Laceona, Jakya, Talina, Lee and Markus Bruce; brother, Lemuel Edward Williams and wife, Ann, of Hatfield, Arkansas; and sister, Elizabeth Ann Franko and husband, Chris, of Wichita Fall;
James will live on in the hearts of many and will be missed by all who knew him.

You will forever be missed. It is hard to accept the fact I will never see you or hear your voice again. I love you so much and am glad you are not struggling any more.
