Janelle Bitner, 89, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, July 9th at a local hospital.
Visitation: 6-7:30 PM, Thursday, July 10, at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend Drive, Waco.
Graveside Services: 10 AM, Friday, July 11, at Waco Memorial Park.
Janelle was born June 18, 1925 in Moody to Thomas and Ola Agnes (Akins) Patrick. She married William Marion Bitner on March 18, 1947 in Waco. Together, they travelled the world.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Marion Bitner; son, William “Bill” Bitner; and brother, Riley Patrick.
Survivors include her sister, Jean Kesslar of Waco, daughter, Penny Lyn Bagi of Waco; grandchildren, Mindy Canipe and husband Kevin, Billy Bitner, Dee Hibler, Freddy Bagi, Jennifer Bagi and fiance’ Ryan Hopkins; great grandchildren, Cameron, Ashley, Tyler, Germayn, Kaylee, Brooklyn, Destine, and Andrew; and numerous nieces and nephews.

This is over. A year later, but I’ve just learned of you loss. I loved Jenny & Bill also! They were the ones. Who got us to Tehran and we enjoyed our times there. I had tried to write, and sent to Wrong address! Hope you get this. My prayers & deepest sympathy
