Janice Barber, 66, of Waco passed away peacefully on August 15, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Barber; parents, James and Eva Allen; brothers, Jerry Allen, Dale Allen, Timothy Allen, Kenneth Ray Allen, Jim Allen and Billy Allen. She is survived by her son, Thomas Barber and wife Stepheney; daughter, Melissa Sizemore and husband Roy; and daughter, Sandy Chapman; 11 grandchildren, Kristin, Charlotte, Seth, Charles, Stephen, Shannon, Kevin, Isabella, Cameron, Chelsea and Destiny; brothers, Vernon Allen and wife Carol, and Gary Allen; sister, Barbara Cox; and several nephews and nieces. Her nephews Jerry and Scotty Allen were a huge part of her life by always picking her up for special occasions or just to hang out. Janice loved her grandchildren, family and friends. She enjoyed drinking her cold beer and listening to her country music. Janice will be cremated, and the family has decided to have a private gathering with family and close friends at a later date.
