    Bro. Jerry:
I am so sorry that we are unable to attend the memorial service for Ms. Janice.
Words are not adequate to express the blessings she and the Calvary Singers have shared in our lives over the past 40 years.
There will certainly not be another like her and the Calvary Singers in our life time.
Janice will certainly be a member of the heavenly choir of 10,000 x 10,000.
We love you for your ministry of love, uncompromising stand, and faithfulness to preach Christ. Oh, what a savior. Great is thy faithfulness….
    Ben and Marieta

  2. I am thinking of you all and remembering our times together.

  3. Bill Townsley, Sr.

During this holiday season, I know that Janice would be very active in preparing the Thanksgiving meal and looking forward to Christmas. I miss her. Laughter and generosity were two very evident features of Granny. I know also that Jerry wishes that she could be here but realizes that one day he will be reunited with her in Heaven. I praise the Lord for my mother-in-law, Janice.

We were so saddened by the news of your precious wife and mother’s passing. Know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. So many wonderful memories!! To think she is now walking the streets of gold with our precious Lord! Wish I could hear her singing with the heavenly choir. It won’t be long and we’ll soon be there, also. Can’t wait. We love you!

Really missing my mom today! Would really like to pick the phone up and talk to her. Sometimes when she would call I would think I was to busy to talk but now I only wish I could get her afternoon call, just wanting to know how I was doing! Mom loved her family and would have done anything to help. She was truly the most unselfish person I know and I love and miss her!!

So sorry for your loss. I remember your Family coming to our church Calvary Hill Baptist Church on LaPrada in Mesquite, TX. when I was a young child. My parents bought several of your Record albums.

it is with sadness that i find this…but, at the same time, it is with the full assurance that there IS gonna be a great day coming!! (The Calvary Singers have been much on my mind these past few days, though i was not sure why… i searched today) i remember Bro. Jerry & Ms. Janice from their journeys thru FBC down in Combes, TX back in the early- to middle-’90s; Bro. Tom Ritchey was our pastor at the time… such sweet folks…such a sweet lady Ms. Janice was! they touched our hearts, my family’s & mine, with their ministry — teamed up with Bro. Sonny Holland at that time on “The Glory Road Run”! — and we were even blessed to get to host a ‘revival team dinner’ (we ate ALOT of fajitas that night! ) for them in our home! i’ll never forget….. i offer my condolences to the family…and, to Bro. Jerry, i just want to say thank you… keep that scarf a-wavin’ and i’ll see y’all again when we make it home!
