James Foxx Agnew, 83, lovingly known as “Jim”, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015.

Graveside Service: Saturday, January 09, 2016 at 2:00PM at Oakwood Cemetery, 2124 South 5th Street, Waco, Texas 76706.

Jim was born on July 22, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Michael Agnew and Mildred Brockett Agnew. After graduating high school, Jim went in to the United States Army where he was trained in radio operations and high speed Morse code interception during the Korean War. Following his time in the Army, Jim married the love of his life, Joan Agnes Ryalls in November of 1953. Together they were blessed with seven children; they raised their family in Lancaster, CA. During their 53 years in Lancaster, Jim worked for many years for the Knutson Dairy Company as routes man delivering milk. He also had his own livestock hauling company. Lifelong Catholics, Jim and Joan became members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waco, upon moving to the area in 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Mildred Agnew; his daughter; Barbara Sue Agnew; his sister, Barbara Fuget; brother, Allan Agnew, and several other half siblings.

James is survived by his wife of 62 years, Joan Agnes Agnew; his six children; sons, Terrance Agnew and his wife Denise, Paul Agnew and his wife Carmen; daughters, Constance Agnew and husband, Julian Cecio, Lauri Agnew, Nancy Patton, Elizabeth Layne and her husband Robert; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grand children; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.
