JoAnn Campbell Rowland, 72, of Waco, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 at her home. A Memorial Service will be 10am Saturday, December 17th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. JoAnn was born to Raymond and Elsie Arnold Campbell, September 13, 1939 in Moody. She grew up in Bosqueville and was a graduate of Waco Tech High School.
JoAnn worked in banking operations all her life and recently retired from First State Bank in Temple. She was a wonderful mother, sister, sister-in-law, cousin, grandmother and great-grandmother and was loved by all. She enjoyed getting together with her former Waco Tech classmates, going to estate sales with her cousin, Mazell and playing with her great-granddaughters, Heidi and Holly. We will miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
JoAnn is survived by her daughters, Karen McCall of Hewitt; Raymona Butler and husband, Scott of Leander, and Bonnie Buck of Manchester, VA.; brothers, Gene Campbell and wife, Charlie of Bosqueville, Donald Campbell of Bosqueville, and Johnny Campbell and wife, Kim of Laguna Park; grandchildren, Christi Nichols Harrington and husband, Sam of West; Jason McCall of China Spring, Darby Butler of Leander; and Donnie, Ronnie and Riley Buck of Manchester, Va.; two great-granddaughters, Heidi and Holly Harrington of West, many nieces, nephews and their children, several cousins, many friends and her beloved dog, Max.
Memorials may be made instead of flowers to the American Diabetes Association or the Waco Humane Society.
