Jodie Denice Rosenbaum, 35, went to be with Our Father in Heaven on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. She was born on April 14, 1987 in Groesbeck, TX.
Celebration of life: 2PM, Saturday March 11, 2023 at Primrose Drive Baptist Church
In memory of Jodie on her birthday, there will be a balloon release and BBQ on April 14, 2023 at 3pm at Cameron Park Rock Shelter pavilion, which is located at the bottom of Jacob’s Ladder.
Jodie Denice was a beautiful and energetic soul. She was what some people would call a “firecracker”, always jumping around and full of life. Jodie’s spark could light up a room. Her love for family and friends ran deep. If you had a problem or issue with someone, she would be the first one to jump up and help you fight your battle. She had a heart the size of Texas and it was shown by her generosity towards others. Loyal, kind, funny, sweet, beautiful, sarcastic, loving, compassionate, and a fighter, Jodie Denice was the total package. We will forever miss our sweet Jodie and life will never be the same again. Rest In Peace, Beautiful.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orvel Dwight Rosenbaum and Mattie Cureton; and brother, Robert Rosenbaum.
She is survived by her sister, Samantha Rosenbaum and husband Miguel Noguera; fiance, Tony Gatlin Sr; sister-in-law, Shunta Rosenbaum; niece, Cheyanne; nephews, Devin, Ryan, and Xavier; stepchildren, Crystal Walker and husband Drew Walker, Tony Gatlin Jr and wife Natasha, and Dylan Sherrill; grandchildren, Alyssa, Andilynn, Brandon, and Novalynn; godfather, Charlie West; and an endless number of cousins, family, and friends.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. ~ Matthew 5:4
