Johnathon Gilbert Hyatt, 75, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Atrium of Bellmead, in Bellmead.

John was a quiet loving person that loved to help people He was always stepping in to assist with any task that needed to be done. He was always in the background with his puzzle books, listening and watching and enjoying the family get-togethers. John loved his family, jazz and swing music, bird watching and short road trips to see the change of seasons, but most of all he loved his Lord and he is finally at peace.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Helen Hyatt.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Hyatt-Gibbs of Waco; one step-daughter, Julie Neal and husband, Jeremy of Salado; one step-son, Casey Pittman and wife, Betsy of Waco; five grandchildren, Britney McDaniels and husband, Devin of Washington, Tyler, Seth and Jillian Neal all of Salado and Ezra Pittman of Waco; and two great-grandchildren, Lillian and Caden McDaniels of Washington.
